Comment from Richard Willan: The members of this species group have branched and papillate processes on their cerata, however, like Melibe viridis, they have a simple (i.e., non-papillose) ceratal margin. The nominal species in this group are Melibe papillosa, Melibe pilosa and (probably) Melibe fimbriata.
