Comment from Richard Willan: This is not a juvenile individual of Hypselodoris maculosa, but a different species characterised by the completely red rhinophores (2 red rings in Hypselodoris maculosa) and ring of purple spots around the mantle margin (absent in Hypselodoris maculosa). I wonder if Thorunna australis is a group of species rather than just one species because it is extremely variable. This is an excellent photo.
