Identification is verified by Alexander Martynov (Zoological Museum of Moscow State University), Nudi Pixel expert
Comment from Alexander Martynov: This recently described species has been reported only from North West Japan Sea, though its range definitely should includes at least waters around Hokkaido Id. as well. Rostanga alisae is only species of this genus known in the Russian Seas. This species is somewhat similar to North East Pacific Rostanga pulchra MacFarland, 1905 and Argentine and North Brazilian Rostanga byga Er. Marcus, 1958, but clearly differs in radular and jaw morphology, by reproductive system structure and also by colouration.
