Identification is verified by Richard Willan, Nudi Pixel expert
Comment from Richard Willan: 22 February 2011: This species is included in the definitive list of Victorian nudibranchs by Robert Burn under the name of Chromodoris reticulata. Therefore that is the opinion of an expert. The truth is that until somebody studies this red-reticulate group of Chromodoris species anatomically and genetically we cannot come to a firm conclusion. So leave it as Chromodoris reticulata.
A very interesting animal from a temperate locality that Chromodoris reticulata would not be expected.
