Comment from the photographer: Found at Carmel Pt., Monterey Co., CA; 9 Apr 2008; 13mm & 12mm total length. The upper animal is Aldisa sanguinea, the lower animal is Rostanga pulchra. A. sanguinea has larger tubercles on the dorsum, and the rhinophores also distinguish the two species.
