Comment from the photographer: Found at Carmel Pt., Monterey Co., CA; 9 Apr 2008. This photo shows two color forms of this species, the upper animal is typical of specimens from the northern part of the range on the Pacific coast of North America, while the lower animal is typical of specimens from the southern part of the range on the Pacific coast of North America.
