Comment from Richard Willan: This small dendronotoid nudibranch is characterised by the red or maroon pigment (as streaks or smudges) on the lower inside of each ceras immediately adjacent to the little secondary gill, a translucent white body with red or maroon pigment streaks, and compound cerata with a red spot at the tip of each tubercle.
