Identification is verified by Richard Willan, Nudi Pixel expert
Comment from Richard Willan: This dorid nudibranch is very similar to Chromodoris preciosa in having a tricoloured (white, red, gold) mantle edge, but inside that there is a broad zone of opaque white mantle glands and the central area has large reddish brown spots. This is a nice photo of a typical individual.
Thanks to Marli Wakeling for suggesting identification for this species
Comment from the photographer: Same mantle edge as Chromodoris albopunctata, but mantle colour and rhino/gills do not match.
