Comment from Richard Willan: This photo from the Philippines of this distinctive and very beautiful arminid nudibranch is absolutely identical in all respects to the type specimens from northern New Zealand, so the species must have a wide distribution in the tropical western Pacific Ocean.
Comment from the photographer: I've seen these only at night at the sight Mainit near Batangas. Size is about 70 mm. This is a video capture so res is not great.
