Comment from Dave Behrens: It could be a young Aeolidiella chromosoma, but the rhinophores don't look quite right for that species, or it could be a species of Coryphella, I just can't be sure based on the photo.
Comment from the photographer: 2k by 2k crop of 4800 dpi scan of Kodachrome slide shot in July of 1979. Nudibranch was in tidepool at Carpenteria State Beach during predawn minus low tide.
