Comment from Richard Willan: This was initially identified as Pattyclaya sp. but then revised by Richard Willan. His comment: However, I am not sure this species is a member of the genus Pattyclaya because I can see no evidence of the presence of 50 or more large gill-like lamellae, on the inside of each parapodia. They sit at right angles to the parapodia edge and run from the edge of the parapodia to about halfway to the dorsal midline of the body. These lamellae are the key feature to identify Pattyclaya. Therefore, it is best to identify this photo just as Elysia sp.
