Comment from the photographer: Elysia diomedeas are commonly known in Mexico as "lechuguillas", something like "little lettuces".
They feed on algae, that stays inside their body and cotinue their fotosynthetic process through the transparent upper-most layer of skin.
They can be very big, this one in particular was almost 20 cm long.
