Ephippidonta sp. from North Sulawesi, Indonesia
Identification verified by Richard Willan

Identification is verified by Richard Willan, Nudi Pixel expert

Comment from Richard Willan: This is a bizarre genus of bivalves in which the mantle (which is translucent and covered with papillae) permanently extends from the shell and covers the outside of the valves just like a cowrie snail.

Comment from the photographer: do you know what it is? is it a nudi? or something else?
