Comment from the photographer: Philinopsis speciosa, Hairball, Lembeh Strait, Sulawesi, Indonesia, Nov. 20, 2002, scanned from slide film. The crawling length of this slug was 70 mm. It was the largest of many Philinopsis speciosa crawling around on a sandy slope.
