Chromodoris leopardus from Solomon Islands

Comment from the photographer: Chromodoris leopardus with re-duplicated anterior mantle skirt, Wreck of the Ann, Sunlight Passage, Russell Islands, Solomon Islands, Nov. 4, 2000, scanned from slide film. When this freak nudibranch crawled it lifted both layers of the anterior mantle, revealing the rhinophores between them.
