Trapania dalva from Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles
Identification verified by Richard Willan

Identification is verified by Richard Willan, Nudi Pixel expert

Comment from Richard Willan: Trapania dalva is characterised by its dark brown background colour with a symmetrical pattern of irregular, opaque white blotches and a pair of diagonal lines running from the front of the gills to the outside of the rhinophoral pockets. The brown areas also contain some orange, yellow and white spots. This is a unique photo. It shows a Trapania in side view surrounded by a ‘garden’ of it food, a low delicate and ‘fluffy’ kamptozoan growing on the surface of a white sponge.

Thanks to Vinicius Padula and Denis Riek for suggesting identification for this species
