Thanks to Vinicius Padula for suggesting identification for this species
Comment from the photographer: I was diving off of Deerfield Beach, FL in relatively shallow water (15-20ft) yesterday. It was about 1.5 to 2 inches long. It appeared Black with yellow stripes, but would reflect back a purple hue when the light hit it properly. I'm relatively new to underwater photography, so unfortunately this was the clearest shot I got of it. Personally, I don't think its publishing quality, but was more interested in identifying it; Simply because I've been unable to do so with my searches.
Comment from Vinicius Padula: Considered as a part of Hypselodoris picta complex. This species was also described locally as Hypselodoris edenticulata (White, 1952).
