Comment from Richard Willan: This species of Doto, which feeds on several different hydroids, is characterised by the creamish cerata with maroon-red pigment spots on the ceratal tubercles and on the body, the 4 rows of ceratal tubercles, and by the club-shaped cerata with a tall terminal tubercle.
