Comment from Richard Willan: This species of Doto, which feeds on the athecate hydroid Sarsia eximia, is characterised by the pink or peach cerata with maroon-red pigment spots on the ceratal tubercles and on the body, the 5 rows of ceratal tubercles, and by the club-shaped cerata with a blunt terminal tubercle.
