Identification is verified by Richard Willan, Nudi Pixel expert
Comment from Richard Willan: In this family of small bivalves, the animal completely extends beyond the shell valves, the mantle has numerous papillae all over, and it creeps along on its foot like a gastropod. So, if juliids (Opisthobranchia: Sacoglossa) could be described as “bivalved gastropods”, these galeommatids can be described as “gastropodized bivalves”!
