Martijn did his first Discover Scuba Diving in 1998 in the Caribbean and got certified as Open Water diver in 2001 in Holland. After that, he made dives in Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Indonesia, the Caribbean, Malaysia and in Holland.

He decided to buy his own equipment and camera around March 2006. He is still diving with that same camera: an Olympus SP-350 with Olympus housing PT-030, 2 Inon D2000 strobes and a macro-lens.

He has made a lot of dives in Holland, but decided to go traveling after he finished Divemaster course in Holland around October 2007. Since then, Martijn made a lot of dives in Cambodia and Malaysia. He’ll probably stay in Asia for another year and hope to visit a lot of other places for diving and underwater photography.
