He spent the last years diving and teaching in Thailand (Koh Tao, Koh Phi Phi, Similans Islands), Mexico (Playa del Carmen), Belize (Blue Hole, Caye Caulker) and Indonesia (Bali, Gili Trawangan, Komodo).
