In the beginning of February 2004, Vinny went from Bali to Gili Air Lombok for 5 days to take an open water course. He ended up staying for 5 weeks. He loved it that much and was amazed at the coral and the pure variety of species especially nudibranchs which Vinny was blown away by the colours of them.

David has been diving since 1974 at which time there were no national certifying agencies and he was using a Nemrod Siluro (box brownie type) underwater camera with flash bulbs.
He has done very few trips away due to business commitments, preferring anyway to concentrate on the local South East Queensland sites and wildlife.
For the past 4 years he has joined Gary Cobb in a quest to find and identify all the Opisthobranchs on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Vidar is a cold water diver from Nesodden in Norway. He started diving at a age of 16 back in the 70`s. Years later in 1989 he decide to follow his dream and became a PADI instructor. A Malaysian, specifically born and bred in Borneo (Sarawak). Started diving in 1999 after returning from 2 years studying in the U.S. Scuba diving was her first career after finishing school. Started as a front-desk girl in an island operated dive center and worked her way up to instructor level in 1 1/2 years.
