This identification is tentative. Without seeing the structure of the foot corners, oral tentacles, rhinophores, or ceratal clusters I cannot be certain this aeolid even belongs in the family Aeolidiidae. It could be a member of the Facelinidae.

An undescribed species. I use this family and genus because the cerata are arranged in transverse rows and the front border of the foot is not extended into propodial tentacles. I do not recognise the species, but evidently it is one that can autotomise (= cast off) its cerata easily – this has happened to the individual with the transparent white back. It has autotomised all its cerata except for a just two at the outermost edge of one row perhaps when it was being handled for the photo.
