Comment from Nathalie Yonow on photo #13292
The gills are just barely visible at the back.

Comment from Nathalie Yonow on photo #13435
This is interesting, since the species has characteristic black lines but the yellow is not diagnostic.

Comment from Nathalie Yonow on photo #14928
Clearly small specimens have the same pattern as larger ones, nice photo.

Another individual with the yellow extending further than originally described.

Comment from Richard Willan on photo #8784
An atypical individual that lacks the characteristic yellow markings behind the rhinophores

Whilst this dorid is characterised by being bluish grey with many white pustules and 4 longitudinal black lines running from in front of the rhinophores to well past the gills, this individual is atypical in having no golden streak across the mantle immediately behind the rhinophores.

Comment from Richard Willan on photo #2082
This photo is important because it shows two individuals of the same species side by side, each with a different colour pattern – one (on the left) with the typical yellow streaks for this species behind the rhinophores, and the other (on the right) without any streaks.
