These animals from Indonesia are Aphelodoris but they cannot be Aphelodoris luctuosa because that species is endemic to New Zealand. I suppose they could be Aphelodoris gigas, one of only two named species in the tropical Indo-Pacific, because of the large hump in front of the gills, the white line up the anterior face of the rhinophores and the white apex to the rhinophores. However their general colouration and lack of an orange line to the mantle and foot suggest they could be a different, as yet undescribed, species. The only way to be really sure will be to make a comparative examination of the feeding organ (radula) and reproductive system.Locality:
