Detail of head
This individual is swimming with its parapodia widely open.
This species is normally brown with irregular white splotches all over its body (as on the head of this individual). This individual is atypical in having some dark chocolate markings on its parapodia as well. Judging by the size of the sea lettuce surrounding it, I think it is only juvenile.
This species has a dark chocolate-brown body with numerous white speckles. A. dactylomela always has large dark rings on its parapodia.
