This is a better photo than this photo of Armina gilchristi. This individual is just about to crawl back beneath the sand.

This arminid nudibranch is characterised by the numerous, white, granulose, longitudinal ridges on the mantle. In this individual these ridges are obscured by sand in which it was burrowing. Armina gilchristi is endemic to southern Africa.
