Recorded from the Red Sea, the pale orange markings centrally, as whell as the translucent patches are typical of C. strigata.

This individual has an atypical colour pattern, but the dark smudges connecting the major black lines across the mantle are still present, so is Chromodoris strigata.

By contrast, Chromodoris magnifica has a thin but well defined white band on the outermost edge of the mantle outside the golden band.

A typical individual. Note the black longitudinal lines are connected by grey smudges and this is very characteristic of Chromodoris strigata.
