Because of the yellow submarginal band just visible around the anterior end, I would be inclined to call this Chromodoris verrieri. There are similar specimens on http://www.underwaterkwaj.com/nudi/chromodorids/e263.htm.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #9362

That name is a guess for me too because I cannot see the colour markings at the mantle edge very well in this photo and resolving them clearly is very important in this group of similar-looking species. I think I can just distinguish 2 bands, which makes this one Chromodoris verrieri – a narrow dark red marginal band and immediately inside that is a narrow apricot-orange band.Locality:

Similar Species

Chromodoris albonares is quite a small species has only an orange band around the edge of the mantle and (especially large) white rhinophores and white gills.
Chromodoris preciosa is a relatively larger species has three colour bands right next to each other - a thin white band at the edge, then a band of deep red, and inside that a band of yellow. Also, the gills and rhinophores are reddish.
