This aeolid nudibranch is endemic to the Cape Province of South Africa. It is characterised by the angular foot corners and red cerata with white tips. The bright orange cheek patches, long oral tentacles and long tail are characters possessed by all species of the genus Cratena. I have seen other species of Cratena displaying this trailing behaviour too.Locality:
