Richard Willan says, I haven’t got any strong opinion on this photo. It could either be Denrodoris tuberculosa (in which case the tubercles would be described as “compound”) or D. carbunculosa (in which case the notum would be described as having the large tubercles ringed with smaller tubercles). This individual seems to show both types of arrangement. Since we cannot see the undersurface of the mantle (which has large white spots in D. tuberculosa, but no spots in D. carbunculosa), we cannot be certain which species it is. So leave it as D. carbunculosa.

This is not Asteronotus cespitosus, it is Dendrodoris carbunculosa. Dendrodoris carbunculosa has circular compound tubercles on the mantle, whereas Asteronotus cespitosus has elongate (especially marginally) simple tubercles on the mantle.
