This species of Doto, which feeds on the thecate hydroid Amphisbetia operculata, is characterised by the maroons spots on the body, creamish orange cerata with maroon-red pigment spots on the ceratal tubercles, the 2 rows of ceratal tubercles, and by the club-shaped cerata with a tall terminal tubercle.Locality:
