Comment from Dave Behrens on photo #3092
This species of sap-sucker, which occurs in the Caribbean Sea and northeastern South America, is characterised by its much-folded parapodial margin. Its colouration is very variable. Its common name is “Lettuce Slug”. By contrast, the similar-looking species Elysia diomedea, which occurs from the Gulf of California to Panama, has longitudinal black and yellow lines on the head and rhinophores.
