Comment from Richard Willan on photo #26603
This species of North Atlantic aeolid is characterised by the red digestive gland in the cerata (rarely greenish or brownish) and by the translucent body (without any traces of pigment) with opaque white pigment restricted to the tips of the oral tentacles, the rhinophores, the tail, and – as narrow rings – on the cerata. It feeds of both athecate and thecate hydroids.
