This is probably not Flabellina rubrolineata, but it is impossible to make out the sculpture on the rhinophores. The very long cerata and their coloration do not correspond with Flabellina rubrolineata.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #3961
An unidentified species. See my earlier comments to separate this species from Flabellina rubrolineata.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #3764
An undescribed species. By contrast, Flabellina rubrolineata has rhinophores with papillae on the posterior face and no opaque white banding on the rhinophores or opaque white stripes on the cerata.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #1272
This is probably a new species of Flabellina, but this particular image does not give enough detail of the oral tentacles or rhinophores to work out their structure sufficiently clearly to identify it.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #782
Probably an undescribed species. The expanded mantle margin between the ceratal clusters (visible on the upper (= right) side of this animal) indicates this species belongs to the Flabellinidae, but determination of families of aeolids based only on external characters visible in photos cannot be always precise. The characters that separate the families of aeolids are largely internal and there is considerable convergence between families.Locality:
