This aeolid nudibranch that grows to 11 mm long, is characterised by the translucent white background, conspicuous opaque white (sometimes yellow) stripes along the dorsal midline and sides of the body, V-shaped white marking on the head, and red (sometimes pale brown) cerata with white speckles. The oral tentacles and the rhinophores are white with translucent bluish bases. The rhinophores are smooth.
