This chromodorid nudibranch is recognised by the pale mantle with small brown spots, by a blue submarginal band in addition to the black marginal band, and by the whitish gills with black or brown lines up both axes. This image from Vietnam represents a significant new locality range for this rare species. Presently it is known with certainty from Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu, and potentially also from South Africa.Locality:
