Comment from Nathalie Yonow on photo #5252
This species is voracious, and here it is finishing off a dendronotid.

Comment from Richard Willan on photo #34
Like most gymnodorids, this one is a predator on other nudibranchs, including members of its own species.

Gymnodoris aurita is described as large, reddish species with prominent tubercles and a yellowish border to the foot. It is known from the Philippines and Indonesia.
