Hypselodoris carnea is characterised by the thin opaque longitudinal lines on the mantle, brown spots and speckles on the mantle, by the purple marginal band, and by the uniformly blood red rhinophores and gills. It is known from the western Indian Ocean – from the east African coast, Oman, Yemen, and the islands of Reunion and Mauritius.Locality:
