Though it is not well shown in this photo, this species is one of the group of Hypselodoris with a raised branchial pocket. Its pattern of longitudinal lines mimics that of the Chromodoris quadricolor species group (i.e., Chromodoris quadricolor, Chromodoris elisabethina, Chromodoris hamiltoni, etc), but it is not closely related to this species group.Locality:
