Comment from Dr. Marta Pola: This species is easy to identified because of its green pustules. They never have any trace of orange color on them.

Note the orange around some of the pustules. All other characters are as for cristata.

At this time we really do not know the extent of colour variation in all species of Nembrotha. It would be wrong to say this particular individual is a different (undescribed) species just because of the dark maroon (instead of black) body and white (instead of green) pustules. Definitely leave it as Nembrotha cristata because the external appearance matches that species most closely.

I think we can safely say that N. cristata is feeding on this ascidian, which should have a name.
