Comment from Dr. Marta Pola: This species is clearly Nembrotha livingstonei. The presence of lines or spots may vary between different specimens but the white cross-shaped marking on top of the head is very characteristic of this species.Comment from Dr. Richard C. Willan: Possibly an undescribed species. This is a very interesting specimen that I cannot name easily. It has the white cross-shaped marking on top of the head like Nembrotha livingstonei but it also has dark longitudinal stripes on the body (Nembrotha livingstonei only has spots) like Nembrotha lineolata and Nembrotha chamberlaini The red ring around the rhinophoral pocket and foot margin are distinctive.
