Notes from Dr. Bill Rudman: Also placed in the genera Learchis, Caloria, Hervia and Facelina by various authors. The correct generic placing cannot be resolved at present.

Very common from Japan, Indonesia and Hawaii to Fiji and Vanuatu this species feeds on hydroids. It grows to about 25 mm
