The individual is hunched up, but it can be identified as Phyllidia exquisita by the orange border to the mantle (a small section is visible just in front of the rhinophores) and the numerous microscopic white specks all over the surface of the mantle.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #3702
This individual is an example of the rarest colour form of this species – one with no golden band, or even golden dashes, at the edge of the mantle.Locality:
