Phyllidiella meandrina is distinguished from the other species of Phyllidiella by its figure-of-8 black marking centrally. This divides two groups of pink tubercles. There may be up to 3 tuberculate pink bands around this, and the edge is pink. The rhinophores are black. Known from the western Indian Ocean to South Africa -- Nathalie Yonow

It is always a bit difficult when the views aren’t fully dorsal, but the black rings all around the margin and the central transverse black, as well as the small pustular tubercles indicate Phyllidiella meandrina.

The marginal rings of tubercles and jet black rhinophores are more like meandrina. There seems to be two oval groupings of tubercles in the middle. Not a phyllidiopsis! I am sure Richard will agree...
