Phyllidiella cf. meandrina
This is interesting; I have as yet to see a specimen of meandrina this far north, but it is not impossible. This is certainly very close...

The green species.

I cannot see any rhinophores in this photo, but it doesn't look like P. pustulosa.

I think I would play it safe and call this Phyllidiella sp, although it is likely some people would put it under Phyllidiella pustulosa.

Comment from Scott Johnson on photo #18273
Another tough one. Where do we draw the line between Phyllidiella pustulosa and some of the other pink lumpy species? Still, I hesitate to call it Phyllidiella pustulosa, although it may well fall into its range of variation. I suppose you could tentatively call it Phyllidiella pustulosa, or put it into Phyllidiella sp.

Comment from Nathalie Yonow on photo #15005
definitely not rosans, striata, or zeylanica. Maybe gemmata or krempfi??

Comment from Scott Johnson on photo #16720
I probably would have gone for a small specimen of Phyllidiella pustulosa, but the bicolored rhinophores say that is not the case. I'm afraid unidentified Phyllidiella sp. is probably the best for this one.

Comment from Scott Johnson on photo #16725
I think the pink and black rhinophores would argue against this being Phyllidiella pustulosa. It could be a small specimen or variation of Phyllidiopsis fissuratus, but I doubt it. I think this would be better called Phyllidiella sp. for now.

This is the ‘green phyllidia’, which belongs in the genus Phyllidiella and is different to Phyllidiella pustulosa, Phyllidiella lizae and Phyllidiella cooraburrama.

Hard to identify this specimen because of the angle from which the photo is taken. It is definitely not Phyllidiella pustulosa because of the lack of black pigment between the pustules dorsally. However I see no pigment granules, so I do not think it is Phyllidiella granulata either. Leave as Phyllidiella sp. indeterminable.
