This species, which is endemic to the Red Sea, is undoubtedly very close to Phyllidiopsis krempfi if not identical with it.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #7132
This nice photo of an actively crawling individual shows just how close this species is to the Indo-Pacific Phyllidiopsis krempfi. Importantly, the mid-dorsal ridge is clearly interrupted in this individual. So the great similarity with Phyllidiopsis krempfi cannot be denied, and I strongly agree with those who think they are the same species.Comment from Nathalie Yonow on photo #2134
This is a dark form of Phyllidiopsis sinaiensis, currently only from the Red Sea. The lighter specimens have a vague resemblence to Phyllidiopsis krempfi.Locality:
