An adult individual. The taxonomy of the Atlantic species of Pleurobranchaea needs reassessment taking into account ontogenetic changes and intraspecific variation. Note the absence of a caudal spur on the tail, so this species is definitely different to the other Atlantic species Pleurobranchaea inconspicua.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #2962
