One of several color forms.

This individual is very interesting. The size, and shape, and arrangement of the pustules on its mantle agree with those of Pleurobranchus albiguttatus, as does the occasional dark red pustule amidst the non-pigmented pustules. However, Pleurobranchus albiguttatus normally has some opaque white longitudinal stripes on a few pustules near the centre and these do not seem to be present at all. Of course that could be because the overall background colour is white, thus masking them.
